Arne Skage is back with his second full-length solo album ‘Rootwork’. Following his debut ‘Procrastination Blues’ which was released in 2021. Since then, Skage has released a concept EP (3 kicks against the pricks, 2023) and toured at home and abroad with his band The Procrastinators.
Guitarist Arne Skage is a veteran of the blues/roots/americana scene in Norway. As a musician from (Rita & Frank) Eriksen's heyday to 34 years as blues king pianist Reidar Larsen's right-hand man, Skage's distinctive slide guitar has been heard on hits and stages since 1990. He has participated in 285 Gramo registered recordings.
As a producer, Skage has made 2 albums with Myrull, 2 with Joe Rusi, including the Grammy-nominated ‘who i am’ in 2015, as well as Daniel Eriksen's Grammy winner ‘Barefoot among scarecrows’ from 2020. The majority of the new album was recorded during January-April 2023.
The songs are mostly written by Arne Skage in collaboration with Tom Roger Aadland, Tim Scott McConnell (aka Ledfoot) and Leslie Smith. The recordings are either done with Skage's Liveband or a bunch of New Orleans' best.

ARE YOU COMING BY TRAIN?
It's not a long walk from Ogna station to Ogna Scene (15 min) but with Ogna Scene's Shuttle bus service, they pick up and drop off their fantastic audience members who are going to Ogna Scene at Ogna train station completely free of charge.
They arrange it so that those who take the train from Stavanger will be picked up at 18.50 (approx.). From Egersund at 19.36 (approx.).
They will also bring you to the station after the concert.
Ogna Scene wants to make it easy and comfortable for you.
NB. They only have one car... If there are many people to be driven, there may be a 5-10 minute wait.
