In 2021, the album won a "Premios Gardel" for Best Chamamé Album, a prize often referred to as Argentina's Grammy. Chamamé is a folk music style from northern Argentina, born from the mix of the area's indigenous people, the Guaraní, and European immigrants. The ensemble usually consists of 2-5 musicians with accordion, bandoneon, violin, guitar, cajon, and sometimes double bass. Chamamé combines nostalgic accordion rhythms with the lively Latin American guitar and singing tradition.
