Dødsego

The psychedelic power-septet and artist collective, Dødsego, hails from the depths of the forest, drawing inspiration from pioneers like King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Motorpsycho, and The Doors.

This seven-headed Oslo band is coming to Stavanger with a ton of music in their backpack, including their debut album and much more. Originally created as a rock quartet in Eidsvoll back in 2016, the band has since evolved into a big band. With saxophone, a host of guitarists, and a visual jockey, they create their own sound and a colorful concert experience unlike anything else in the Norwegian rock landscape.

Over the past year, the band has played at various venues and festivals including SALT, Gamla, John Dee, and the Åndalsnes festival Feskslo/Trollkauk. At their concerts, you can expect to be taken on a musical journey with high energy, epic, unpredictable songs, and an all-encompassing visual art expression.

Their seventh member, Julie R. Hopshaug, controls the visual backdrop in sync with the music, creating an explosive and unique show with the band. Expect dizzying saxophones, cosmic fuzz, and heartwarming psychedelia, along with references to their musical and cinematic heroes.
