Hanne Sørvaag is celebrating her 25th anniversary as a recording artist.

This year marks 25 years since Hanne Sørvaag's very first single was released. She had a record deal with Sony Music, received heavy radio rotation, great reviews, several singles at the top of the charts, and a corresponding tour. In addition to her on-stage life, she was signed by Universal Music Publishing UK as a songwriter for other artists with significant international success. However, her own releases and concerts have always been the core of her work, and what she always returns to.

This anniversary is marked with a new album in Norwegian, which ties together and summarizes her life as an artist and a person. It's about being on the road, searching for belonging and good relationships, losing someone close, and daring to pursue and hold onto the big dream.

The album was recorded in Stavanger with producer and songwriter Arne Hovda. It felt right to celebrate 25 years of ups and downs in the music industry by returning to where the journey began.
