The plot
In Svingen, there is a Christmas atmosphere with Advent calendars to be opened and a Christmas tree to be lit. The children and the choir are preparing for Christmas with song and joy, just as it always has been.
But not everything goes according to plan. Marvin, Linus and Klara Klegg's father, keeps coming up with new and unusual ideas that don't always go down well with their mum Agnethe. At the same time, a new family moves into the neighbourhood from Sletta, and the question is whether the new neighbours will find their place in Svingen.
The annual relay race between Svingen and Sletta is coming up, and everyone is wondering who will win this year. The boys are also planning their annual cabin trip, which this time takes an unexpected turn, especially for Nure. Who will be Lucia? The competition is fierce, and everyone wants the role.
In the midst of the Christmas preparations, Akaya is facing travelling away from Svingen at Christmas, and Atif, who is Muslim, doesn't celebrate Christmas. How will the children be able to get together on Christmas Eve? Fortunately, the children in Svingen are creative and always find solutions to the challenges they face.
