Brynerocken Booking and Live Wire Concerts present Rhapsody Of Fire. Rhapsody Of Fire is an Italian symphonic power metal band founded by Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli. The band set the standard for an entire genre and began their career in the mid-90s. Their debut album, Legendary Tales, made a huge impact on the music scene and quickly turned the band into a worldwide fan favorite.

After some legal issues, they changed their name to Rhapsody Of Fire in 2003 but continued to release music regularly. In 2012, band leaders and main composers Alex Staropoli and Luca Turilli decided to go their separate ways: while Luca formed Luca Turilli's Rhapsody to embark on a new adventure exploring even more cinematic soundscapes, Staropoli, along with Fabio Lione, Alex Holzwarth, Oliver Holzwarth, and new guitarist Roby De Micheli, continued with Rhapsody Of Fire, focusing on the classic heavy sound that fans love.

Recently, Rhapsody Of Fire announced their new lineup, featuring vocalist Giacomo Voli and drummer Manu Lotter. They have re-recorded their greatest classic tracks from the Rhapsody years and released the album Legendary Years. This album reflects a collection of songs written and produced during the band's first five years, now featuring a fresh and incredible sound. Fourteen epic songs have been completely re-recorded, with all drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, vocals, epic choruses, operatic vocals, and several classical instruments recorded anew.

"Recording old historical songs is not common among bands because there's often a lack of confidence or the belief that, for some musicians and fans, you shouldn't touch what belongs to the past. We disagree," says Alex Staropoli.

In November, they are finally returning to Norway for two concerts in Oslo and Stavanger. Please note that there may be strobe lights and smoke effects used during the concert at Folken.
