Dip candles, taste homemade Christmas treats, gløgg, and gingerbread. Bake traditional potato cakes, make Christmas hearts, baskets, and beaded hearts. Try your hand at woodworking by building a small boat, hammering boat nails, and even blacksmithing. Listen to exciting fairy tales and much more!
At Åkre Chapel House, we’ll gather around the Christmas tree with songs and music. Torader i Nordvest will fill Yttarlandstova with cheerful tunes, and we’ll be visited by star girls and star boys from the Steiner School – carrying lights, lanterns, and singing beautifully.
At the market stalls by the church sheds and in Larsnesbuda, you’ll find everything from creams and oils to decorations, honey, and sheepskins. And in between, you can take a break in the cozy Ytterlandstova with a cup of coffee, a warm "svele" or freshly made waffle. In the museum café, we have delicious sour cream porridge, tasty sausages, sweet cakes, freshly made "svele," hot chocolate, and freshly ground coffee from Jacu.
