Vidar Vikse på Ogna Scene

Vidar has been composing and playing music since he was 11 years old, and over the course of 35 years, he has played in countless bands and projects. In addition to being a solo artist, he is also a songwriter and guitarist in the somewhat well-known Haugesund band Lystgass, which has received a lot of airtime on local radio stations.

His music spans several genres, from upbeat melancholic pop and rock to country, Irish, and folk music. The lyrics reflect both the inspiring lessons from life's ups and downs, as well as the humorous little things in everyday life, like running out of toppings for your sandwich. Most of the lyrics are in the Jæren dialect, so they should be easy to understand.

Joining him on stage is the talented Espen Helvik. Together, they will ensure a varied and engaging musical experience. In addition to original songs, the evening will be spiced up with several well-known cover songs that are guaranteed to make you sing along.

As an extra bonus, Vidar will also showcase and display some of his comic art pieces. Vidar hopes to entertain, inspire, and bring out plenty of smiles during the concert.

COMING BY TRAIN?

It's not a long walk from Ogna station to Ogna Scene (15 minutes), but with Ogna Scene's shuttle bus service, they will pick up and drop off their fantastic audience members going to Ogna Scene from Ogna train station for free.

They have arranged it so that those coming by train from Stavanger will be picked up around 6:50 PM and from Egersund around 7:36 PM.

They will also take you back to the station after the concert ends.

Ogna Scene wants to make it easy and comfortable for you.

Note: They only have one car... If there are many people needing a ride, there may be a 5-10 minute wait.
