Ræin Adventures

Ræin started over a colleague coffee in the middle of Storgata 3 in Oslo! The owners behind the businesses, Carl and Britt, met back in 2015 at the office of DNT Oslo as hiking guides.

For nearly 7 years, trip planning, trip administration, risk assessment, and guiding in large parts of Norway for both Norwegians and foreign guests were their daily responsibilities. In her spare time, Britt spent time on longer ski trips in the Arctic, while Carl specialized in alpine landscapes. Kayaking trips on the Oslo Fjord or climbing trips in the local area were shared activities that made the city a little less urban.

Weekend trips to the mountains became more frequent in recent years in Oslo, and the desire for closeness to nature became so great that both moved in 2019 to Sunnmøre with their respective. Neither wanted to stop working with their great passion, and Ræin was therefore the result; an activity company offering authentic nature experiences and giving back more to local communities and nature than what the local environment sacrifices. Despite being a fresh business, Ræin thus has extensive experience and expertise within the industry.
