Nice little stone cabin with combined bed and living room for up to 4 persons. Previously a hunting cabin belonging to Harald J. Loennechen from Kristiansund. Given as a gift to Kristiansund and Nordmøre Trekking Association in 1936, and is the smallest cabin in the DNT-system.

Denne bittelille og trivelige steinbua med et kombinert sove- og oppholdsrom med to rommelige køyer. Loennechenbua var tidligere en jaktbu tilhørende kristiasunderen Harald J. Loennechen, men ble gitt i gave til Kristiansund og Nordmøre Turistforening i 1936. Dett er den aller minste hytten tilhørende Den Norske Turistforening.  Hytta er ubetjent hele året. Den ligger fint til i overgangen mellom Dovrefjell og Sunndalsfjella og har mange fine turmuligheter rundt seg. Fine toppturer fra hytta er Skirådalskollen (1857 moh) og Storvasskollen (1813 moh). Andre hytter som kan nåes via ruter fra bua er Dindalshytta, Jenstad, Gammelsetra og Åmotdalshytta.
