A varied and beautiful tour with mixed terrain with plenty of places to pause and take pictures. This tour is a total of 14 km: Geiranger – Eagle Bend – Geiranger (flat the first 2 km from Geiranger to Grande, then 10% ascent, hairpin curves, highest point 620 m) Starting in town, head north along the fjjord, enjoying the flat section for 2km before climbing the 'Eagles Road'. Every corner reveals a new perspective of the fjord. Pass by historic goat farms and fruit orchards on your way up to the 'Eagles Bend' viewpoint. From this platform perched 620m above sea level, you get a panorama over the Geirangerfjord that takes in the '7 Sisters waterfall', Geiranger township, and even views of Mt Dalsnibba.
Return to Geiranger via the same route, gliding down the smooth road surface . Take your time to enjoy each corner and their different views as if you were an Eagle soaring above the fjord.
