Hiking route
Start the hike by walking on a forest track for aproxomately 1 km, before following a path further up and to the west where Galten is.
From Galten you get a lovely view towards Volda, Austefjorden and Dalsfjorden.
Getting there
After the ferry pier you head towards Lauvstad at Dalsfjordvegen. Take left from Coop grocery store and follow the road towards Folkestadsætra. Here you must pass a toll station. You will find a area map here. Follow the road further to a cropland and park in this area, then start the hike at your right side.
