The Classic Fjord Tour is filled with contrasts, from the sea breeze nipping at your face to, to lush green valleys and crisp air of heather-clad mountains. Stay overnight in authentic fishermen's cabins, old trading posts and luxurious traditional hotels. You will be served traditional farmer and fisherman´s dishes with fresh local ingredients.

Day 1 - Welcome to Ålesund
Meeting point at Uteguiden's activity center in Ålesund, late afternoon. Bike fitting, presentation of the group, guides and routes. Dinner at BRO and accomodation at Hotel Brosundet.
Day 2 - Arriving at Håholmen
After breakfast and a quick transfer to Molde we will start the first stage towards Håholmen (80 km in flat terrain).
Accomodation and dinner at Håholmen Sea Cottages, an original cluster of houses kept in style of how they looked in the 1700s.
Day 3 - Atlantic Road, arriving at Angvika
Håholmen to Angvika (100 km, 800 m D+). Here the famous Atlantic Road awaits. This architectural masterpiece has eight bridges connecting the many islands with the mainland.
Accomodation at Angvik Gamle Handelssted, a small gem beautifully situated close to the Tingvoll Fjord in the region Nordmøre. Enjoy some rest at the spa, take a swim and get ready for a five-course dinner.
Day 4 - Angvika to Åndalsnes
Angvika to Åndalsnes (115 km, 1500 m D+). Angvika Route 666 continues to Eresfjord and over the Vistdalsheia plateau at 555 masl, before reaching the village Åndalsnes. A base for mountaineers and cyclists alike, coming from all over the world to explore the wild and untamed nature.
Accomodation and dinner at Grand Bellevue by Classic Norway.
Day 5 - Trolls and kayaking
Åndalsnes to Valldal (50 km – 1100 m D+). Tough climb to the highest point of Trollstigen (705 masl) with a lovely view.
Accomodation at Valldal Fjordhotel with a stunning view towards Norddalsfjord and Syltefjellet. Lunch and possibility for a kayak tour in the fjord before dinner.
Day 6 - Explore the fjords and the valleys
Valldal - Geiranger - Dalsnibba - Geiranger (80 km – 2400 m D+). We take the ferry crossing to Eidsdal and ride on a mountain road to Geiranger, passing Ørnesvingen viewpoint.
After some rest in Geiranger, the viewpoint Dalsnibba (1500 masl) is your next challenge. The view is breathtaking, but so is the climb!
Accomodation and dinner at Geiranger Hotel Utsikten.
Day 7 - The Queen stage
Geiranger to Ålesund (100 km + 1000 m D+). Ferry through the Geirangerfjord and some of the most breathtaking natural and cultural landscape Norway has to offer.
Bike trip through Norangsdalen and Hjørundfjord before arriving in Ålesund with accomodation and dinner at Hotel Brosundet.
Day 8 - Time to say goodbye
Explore the Art Nouveau town Ålesund where you ca visit the seal bay at Ålesund Aquarium, take a kayak tour in town or a RIB boat trip to the puffin bird island of Runde.
