Tickets
You can buy a ticket in the FRAM app or the Entur app. You can also buy a ticket on board the bus. On board, you can pay with a debit card or credit card.
Note!
- If the travel planner is displayed in Norwegian and you want to see the English page, choose “Switch to English” in the page footer.
- The bus travels via the Atlantic Road, but does not stop at the service center on Eldhusøya or any other locations near the Atlantic Road. This is a public bus that follows a timetable, and there are no photo stops or other breaks along the way.
The Atlantic road
The Atlantic Road connects Averøy with the mainland via a series of small islands and islets spanned by a total of eight bridges over 8274 meters. The road is a national tourist route. With its location at the edge of the mighty ocean, the Atlantic Road is as beautiful in sunshine and calm weather as in full storm and rain.
Note! This bus drives along the Atlantic Road, but does not stop at the Eldhusøya service centre or anywhere else close to the Atlantic Road sights. It is a public bus, running on a time schedule and there are no photo stops or other breaks during the trip.
Kristiansund
Kristiansund is Norway’s klippfisk («cliff fish») town, with rich traditions for bacalao and other klippfisk dishes, that are served in several restaurants in town. Kristiansund also has a varied cultural offering and a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. From “Varden” you have a splendid view of the town and if you want to further see Kristiansund by sea you can take a trip with Sundbåten.
