Borgstua accomodation - Kvernes

It contains a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and four bedrooms with seven sleeping accommodations, having new and comfortable mattresses. One of the bedrooms is charmingly furnished in an old style. If you want to, you may light a wooden fire in the living room oven. The entire house has old furniture to fit in the surroundings,

The whole place is situated in quiet surroundings overlooking the fiords and the beautiful mountainous background. The area has an enjoyable walking path (Pilgrims walk) passing a roofed resting place where you can light a fire. The path goes past the Kvernes Old Country Museum where a guided tour may be arranged.  In the stave church there is guidance between the 20th of June and the 20th of August (off season a tour may be appointed).  A simple dinner may be ordered if reserved in due time before you arrive. Kvernes is situated 20 min. from the Atlantic Road, 30 min. from Kristiansund and 75 min. from Molde. It is a perfect place for a peaceful stay having a breath-taking look at the Nordmøre region. Kvernes is where you go to enjoy nature and find peace and quiet and fits perfect for pilgrims and those traveling the coast pilgrimage.
