Experience the magic of the fjord
With just a few metres to the fjord, it almost feels like you're sleeping in the water. All the necessary facilities are available either in the mini house or in the basement of the Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg shop. This farm shop was voted Norway's best in 2023 and is a small attraction in itself. Next door you'll find a sauna with the same fantastic view, which can be booked. A warm welcome to you!
Modern and comfortable cabin
The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The mini cabin has a 160 cm double bed, ideal for two people. The beds are fully made up on arrival and towels are included.
Outdoor barbecue and fire pit
Just outside the mini house, you'll find a barbecue and fire pit that guests are free to use. Charcoal, lighter fluid and barbecue food can be purchased in the farm shop. The farm shop is open every day from mid-June to the end of August, and from Thursday to Sunday the rest of the year.
Access to shared facilities
When you rent the cabin, you'll receive a key card for the basement in the shop next door. Here you have access to a toilet, shower and a small kitchenette for washing up. The basement is shared by cabin guests and motorhome guests. There's also a sofa for relaxing and a microwave for easy cooking, in addition to the hobs in the cabin. Check-in is from 4 pm. (16:00) and check-out is at noon.
Explore beautiful Dirdal
Dirdal is located in the centre of Høgsfjorden and is the perfect starting point for memorable hikes in the area. It's about 50 kilometres to Stavanger and a few kilometres to the beautiful areas of Byrkjedal and Byrkjedalstunet. Dirdal is also ideally located between the famous hiking trails of Preikestolen and Kjerag.
