Children can have fun on their own, while parents join in with other activities. While the kids are busy, you can also visit the Norwegian Canning Museum, which shows how fish canning used to be produced in Stavanger. If you'd rather wander around on your own, you'll find Old Stavanger or Straen, as the area is also known, which has been recognised as Northern Europe's best-preserved wooden settlement. After a long day with many experiences, you can end the day in Fargegaten, which is located right in the centre of Stavanger. Stavanger is surrounded by great nature experiences, the Lysefjord is just a drive away from the hotel and here you'll find, among other things, the Pulpit Rock and Kjerag, which are absolutely fantastic hiking experiences. You can go on the tours yourself, but it is also possible to go with a guide. If you're looking for slightly shorter hikes, you can visit the Sword in the Mountains in Hafrsfjord or Solastranden, which has been named the 6th best beach in the world. There are also daily trips during the summer season to Flor & Fjære, an island just outside Stavanger, where you can experience beautiful fjord walks, incredible gardens and good food at the same time.

Kongeparken in Ålgård, which is a 15-minute drive from the hotel, offers a wide range of roller coasters and other activities.
