Very well-made path up the Viglesdalen valley to the Viglesdalen cabin operated by the Stavanger Trekking Association. The path is an old construction road built by migrant Swedish workers in 1907–1912 - you'll pass a number of information signs with historic facts about the valley. The Viglesdalen cabin itself is beautifully situated on a grazy floodplain. The cabin is accessible for day-visitors at a fee or you can spend the night there.
It is possible to do this walk as a daytrip back and forth to the parking lot, but length and time noted here are for a single way to the cabin - presuming you spend the night there, that is.

A scenic hike where you will pass the waterfalls of Sendingfossen and Hiafossen/Granefossen before you move on past the Viglesdalsvatnet lake with the big-walls towering high over your head.
