The campsite is located on Volsdalsberga, only a short walk from the fjord and a recreational area, overlooking the Storfjord and Sunnmørsalpene. In the recreational area below the campsite you will find a ocean "swimming pool", jump tower, beach volleyball court and nice trails along the fjord. It is about 20min walking distance from the campsite to Ålesund city center. A trip that is nice both for pedestrians and cyclists.
From Ålesund you can also easily reach, by car or public transportation, most of the major attractions in the area in less than two hours. Such as Trollstigen, Valldal, Geiranger, and the Atlantic Ocean.
At the campsite we have about 40 pitches for campers and caravans, about 20 tent sites, 16 cabins of different sizes and genres, and 13 double rooms.
You can stay at a camping site or in cabins, and enjoy the outdoors activities at a nearby beach.
