The Fjord Coast and Sunnfjord in winter splendor have a clear starlit sky with fresh air, dramatic winter storms followed by sunshine, and a ski tour culture in beautiful terrain. We invite you to impressive nature and cultural experiences with great diversity, all set against a magical backdrop!

“We embrace diversity - and contrasts. We embrace the north winds and west winds - the tailwinds and headwinds. ”

From a peaceful winters day to the drama of a winter storm-

We embrace nature and people! That´s how it is and that´s how we like it!

When the storms in the west roll across the country, there might be snowing in Sunnfjord, thanks to the proximity to the Jostedal glacier. Sunnfjord is a hidden gem, and one of the areas in our beautiful country with the most precipitation - perfect for skiing enthusiasts who are looking for pow pow!

Peaks and valleys in several directions mean that it is always possible to find good snow and accessible sides, even a while after the snow has fallen. In Sunnfjord you´ll find a varied terrain with skiing of varying degrees of difficulty, both for those who are new to skiing, and those who want a little more challenge.
