How to get there
There is no road connection to Trandal, so you’ll need to travel by ferry from Ytre Standal or Sæbø, by shuttle boat, or by the public boat that runs in summer between Ålesund, Trandal, Sæbø, Urke, and Øye. Christian Gaard Bygdetun also offers several shuttle boats of various sizes, available for both short trips in the local area or longer journeys along the coast, including to Ålesund.
