Food and drink
Dattera til Lothe serves low-mileage food and drinks in a relaxed setting. The menu changes with the season and local availability, but expect everything from local seafood, salads and burgers to waffles and herring open sandwiches. Lunch is served from 11:00–16:30, dinner from 16:30–22:00.
Allergy, vegetarian, vegan? There's something for everyone and the kitchen is happy to adapt dishes to your needs!
Location
Dattera to Lothe is situated right in the centre of town and has spectacular views of the Smedasundet strait. The restaurant is spread over several levels, providing a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. Dattera til Lothe means the daughter of Lothe. It was opened in 2018 by Lise Lothe, the daughter of restauranteur Finn Lothe, hence the name.
Lothe's garden
The garden is perhaps Haugesund's finest outdoor dining area, offering views of the Smedasundet strait, all-day sun, its own herb garden, apple trees, local food and a wide range of drinks.
