DNT Todalshytta mountain lodge

Todalshytta is a gem in Todalen, Surnadal  and centrally located in the village. Hiking opportunities in the area are good, Todalen is the gateway to Trollheimen, and the hike  from Todalshytta over Bjøråskaret to Innerdalen is fantastic.  It is also possible to walk from Todalshytte to Trollheimshytta through Romådalen, this hike is long and most fitted for the experienced walker. The river,Toå, runs just below the cabin is known for good fishing.  The cabin is self service: The self-catering neighborhood of Todalshytta consists of 2 units. • Isbua: The 2nd floor of Isbua is open for self-catering accommodation and locked with DNT lock. It consists of a small hallway with kitchenette a and a living room with 2 refrigerators and a 3-seater sofa. There is bed linen for accommodation for 5 people. • Virgo: In connection with the main cabin there is a separate room that is used for the self-catering accommodation. The room key is located in Isbua, there is a family bunk bed in the room with room for 3 people. Toilet and shower are in separate sanitary facilities, this is used both by residents on the self-catering area and those who rent the main cabin.  Twin cabin: The main cabin is open for rent as a unit. This is a traditional cottage from the English area in Todalen, The cottage has its own spacious kitchen, breakfast room, large dining room and fireplace lounge.  On the second floor is the bedroom with 30 beds spread over many rooms. The cabin is locked and all leases at the Trekking association in Kristiansund. See more information at the website.
