The car ferry Hjelmeland-Nesvik-Ombo/Skipavik is a year-round ferry service. There are three ferries on the route: M/F "Hydra", M/F "Nesvik" and M/F "Hjelmeland". M/F "Hydra" is the world's first hydrogen ferry, while M/F "Nesvik" is electric.
The Hjelmeland-Nesvik-Ombo/Skipavik-Hjelmeland round trip is an easily accessible fjord trip, which is free for those travelling without a vehicle.
