Glamping
The bed is made upon your arrival, and the dome has a warm and cozy atmosphere, with a wood stove for cooler weather. The dome is designed for two adults, but the sofa bed can also be used if more people wish to join in on this unique nature experience where the mountains meet the ocean.
Facilities
Everything is set when you arrive, and the dome is ready for use. There is no electricity, but solar panels provide lighting and allow you to charge your mobile phone. Behind the dome, you will also find a built-in kitchen with utensils. If you want, you can order food and drinks to be placed in the fridge upon arrival. You can alsobring your own food, and the grocery store is about a fifteen-minutes' drive from the dome. Fishing rods are at your disposal, and your catch can be cooked on the grill or in the frying pan in the kitchen.

- As a guest, you have your own parking space, but to reach the dome you have to walk approx. 200 metres to reach the dome.

The headland Grautaneset is a romantic nature experience, situated at the foot of the spectacular mountain Tustnastabben. On one side, you can enjoy the sea view, where you can watch the sun disappear into the ocean at sunset. On the other side, you gaze directly up to the mountain Tustnastabben, which stretches 830 metres above sea level. Grautaneset is secluded by the mountain, shielded from the hustle and bustle of society. Bring your loved one and enjoy an extraordinary nature experience.

Hiking opportunities nearby
Aure municipality, and especially the island of Stabblandet where Grautaneset is located, is known for its fantastic hiking opportunities. There are two mountain ranges on Stabblandet – the compact Innerbergsalen/Stabben along the west side of the island, and the mountains Storøra and Litløra continuing in a smaller ridge along the east side of the island. Between these lies the valley of Soleimsdalen. Innerbergsalen, at 908 metres above sea level, is the highest mountain in Aure municipality and alsothe highest island peak in Southern Norway. The island of Tustnalies just across the strait from Grautaneset, offering good hiking, fishing, and adventure opportunities.
