The hammock park is one of two hammock parks in Midsund. This seaside hammock park is located on the old national border between Sweden and Denmark/Norway, which was in effect from the middle of the 17th century. The second hammock park can be found at the top of the mountain Digergubben.
Practical Information
When booking, select your arrival date in the booking calendar. This ensures you have the entire park to yourself, regardless of your group size at the time of booking. Upon arrival, you can park at Sandane tourist parking and walk 50-100 meters along the main road. Then, turn right towards the sea at the sign indicating the National Border. Follow the cleared path down to the sea and walk for about 10 minutes.
Facilities
The Hammock Park is idyllically located near the Sandane hiking area. There's also space for a small tent among the trees. Here, you'll find one of Møre og Romsdal's finest sandy beaches. A sea bath is a must, and it's a great area to search for crabs and other creatures among the shore stones. A fine gravel path, perfect for a seaside stroll, has also been laid out. This is an excellent spot for children.
