Preikestolen BaseCamp, which is idyllically located near the shore of Refsvatnet lake and the main trail to Preikestolen, is just 30 minutes from Stavanger. As a guest at the BaseCamp, you can enjoy a variety of land and water-based outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and lake paddling. Idyllically located down by Refsvatnet lake, you will find Hikers' Camp - the perfect place to stay if you want to camp outdoors without having to bring along camping equipment and search for a campsite. Hikers' Camp consists of 24 Hikers' Nest units (each can sleep two adults) as well as common fire-pits. The Hikers' Nests are equipped with mattresses, heating, a USB port and a light. Shared showers and toilets are located in the service building near Preikestolhytta.

Hikers' Camp close proxiemity to Refsvatnet lake gives you direct access to swimming, lake padding and Preikestolen BaseCamp's floating saunas. The camp is suitable for families, groups of friends, couples, school classes and basically anyone who wants to sleep comfortably under the stars!
