Jølstraholmen was established in 1962 and has been a family-owned business for three generations. Today, Jølstraholmen can accommodate over 100 guests in its 23 different cabins, lodges and suites along the Jølstra river. On site, you’ll find a riverside sauna, natural pool, waterslide, large playground, zipline, interactive playground equipment, a barbecue area, a large grocery store, gas station, café and charging station for electric cars.

The site is 100% energy self-sufficient, generating all its own green electricity from a micro-power plant in the river. The natural pool and waterslide use clean water that comes directly from the river and runs directly back into the river without chemical additives.
