The lighthouse was automated in 1986 and was rented out to Ytre Nordfjord Turlag as of 01.01.2019, to the Norwegian Tourist Association (DNT).
The lighthouse is surrounded by open sea, has several wind records and lies on one of the most exposed places on the west coast of Norway between Ålesund in the north and Bergen in the south. The unspoilt nature around the lighthouse invites you to discover tours both down the fjord and up around the Kråkeneset.
The lighthouse is operated as a lodging place with rental rooms. Here you can spend several days in one of the most spectacular stormy places in the whole of Norway, feeling salt in the air and waves throughout the body. If you are lucky you will get both sunrise behind Stadlandet and sunrise in the sea.
In the lighthouse you can rent the storm suite here there is room for up to 4 people. Here you have the whole third floor for yourself and can enjoy both storms and fantastic sunsets with good friends. There is a toilet with shower, bedroom with double bed, stove with sofa bed, dining area and a small kitchenette. The storm suite is rented as a unit. The lighthouse / Stormsuit has its own key.
In the storm house which is about 50 meters from the actual lighthouse there are 11 beds divided into 4 rooms, Rooms 1 and 2 rent one per bed, bunk beds. Room 1 has 4 beds, room 2 has 3 beds. Shared toilet and shower. Rooms 3 and 4 are rented as a unit, the room has a double bed with its own toilet. Shared living room, kitchen and bathroom, in the kitchen there is a refrigerator, oven and you need to cook during your stay. The standard DNT key is used in Stormhuset.

Kråkenes Lighthouse
The Kråkenes lighthouse was created by the Norwegian Coastal Administration in 1906 and is a guiding and entry lighthouse from the Stadhavet, located in Kinn municipality in Nordfjord in Vestland county.
