At the top of Mount Fløyen, you'll find the restaurant Schou located on the first floor of the restaurant Fløirestauranten. The restaurant Schou is named after Bergen architect Einar Oscar Schou, who designed Fløirestauranten in the early 1920s. Here, you can experience a 10-course sensory menu with flavors from the mountains, fjords, and flora, all within the venerable architecture of Schou.

At Schou there is a collective welcome and farewell to all the evening’s guests.

Nature and culture unite in this experience, and we aim to awaken all your senses throughout the meal. Guests enjoy a full evening, observing genuine culinary craftsmanship as the food is prepared in front of you, alongside admiring the view over the city of Bergen.

Open Wednesday to Saturday all year round. The 10-course sensory menu lasts from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The experience begins with the funicular departing from Fløibanen city station at 6:15 PM (Vetrlidsallmenningen 23A). Tickets for Fløibanen are purchased separately. The funicular runs until midnight, allowing for an easy return from the mountain.
