You can find attractions for everyone in the area around the hotel

For the cultural

There are many opportunities to experience Norwegian culture in the area around the hotel. In the centre of Stavanger, you'll find the Norwegian Oil Museum, which is perfect for both adults and children of all ages. Here you get an insight into the oil industry in Stavanger. There are also lots of activities for children, including 3D films, the disaster room, the drilling deck and the life jacket. Children can have fun on their own, while parents join in with other activities. While the kids are busy, you can also visit the Norwegian Canning Museum, which shows how fish canning used to be produced in Stavanger. If you'd rather wander around on your own, you'll find Old Stavanger or Straen, as the area is also known, which has been recognised as Northern Europe's best-preserved wooden settlement. After a long day with many experiences, you can end the day in Fargegaten, which is located right in the centre of Stavanger. It's a cosy pedestrian street with a variety of cafés and restaurants with good food and atmosphere.

For those who love adrenaline

If you're looking for a sporting experience where you can really feel the adrenaline in your body, we recommend taking a trip with Helitrans, where you can see the whole of Stavanger from a helicopter. If you're not a fan of heights, you can join a trip through the Lysefjord, where you can experience real Norwegian nature while riding a rib boat. It's also possible to join a guided kayak tour through the Lysefjord.

For those who want to experience the beautiful Norwegian nature

Stavanger is surrounded by great nature experiences, the Lysefjord is just a drive away from the hotel and here you'll find, among other things, the Pulpit Rock and Kjerag, which are absolutely fantastic hiking experiences. You can go on the tours yourself, but it is also possible to go with a guide. If you're looking for slightly shorter hikes, you can visit the Sword in the Mountains in Hafrsfjord or Solastranden, which has been named the 6th best beach in the world. There are also daily trips during the summer season to Flor & Fjære, an island just outside Stavanger, where you can experience beautiful fjord walks, incredible gardens and good food at the same time.

For those travelling with family and children

If you're travelling with family and children, there are several exciting activities to choose from. Kongeparken in Ålgård, which is a 15-minute drive from the hotel, offers a wide range of roller coasters and other activities. You'll also find Rush Trampoline Park, the Norwegian Children's Museum, the Iron Age Farm and the Sola Aviation History Museum near the hotel, all of which are great attractions for children.
