Sjøbua at Villsaugården(the wild sheep farm) on Smøla offers a unique accommodation experience. Renovated to the highest quality, it provides spectacular views in all directions – from the living room, kitchen, and even the bathtub.
You cannot get closer to the sea and nature while still feeling safe, comfortable, and warm inside, even in stormy weather. Sjøbua, or Sjybua as it is called in the local Smøla dialect, is situated 15 metres from the shoreline. It has large terraces facing various directions, so you will find sun and shelter from the wind regardless of the wind direction. Sjøbua is fully equipped with everything you need.
Premium cabins
Sjøbua is one of three premium all-inclusive rental cabins at Villsaugården. The others being Eldhuset,located in the farmyard, and the architectural gem Inga. Here, you can book your dream stay for the whole family or a romantic weekend for two. Everything is arranged for: bedding, baby cot, cleaning, coffee machine, fire pit, firewood, and an outdoor grill. All included in the price – as simple as it gets!

The bathtub is an experience in itself, equipped with a champagne plank for your bubbly glasses, and the coast's largest panoramic window facing the open sea.
Farm shop and restaurant with local delicacies
You can buy local food or fine gifts in the farm shop,which is open during the school summer holidays. The restaurant serves delicious lunch and dinner dishes based on local ingredients such as dried cod and wild sheep.
