What you can expect
Haugesund Kunstforening invites you to Kunstsuppe, an event that offers both food and art. Art critic and author Trond Borgen will give a talk entitled ‘The Venice Biennale 2024 - The world's largest art exhibition - also the world's best?’. Borgen will take a closer look at this year's biennial, which focuses on art from around the world. He will show highlights and discuss how this changes the traditional centre of art.
Programme details
Before the lecture, soup will be served from Lothe's food and wine house. Borgen will then take us through the diversity of the biennial and share his thoughts on why this year's exhibition is both important and interesting.
