Baardsen & Silje with gems from Svein
After Svein Tang Wa's passing in the summer of ‘21, Silje Molvær began interpreting her father's songs. Her interpretation of Tang Wa's ‘Ta på meg’ was part of the memorial concert for Svein in Stavanger Concert Hall in April 22, accompanied by the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra.
Baardsen sings personal songs in his native Stavanger, despite having lived more than half his life in Eastern Norway. He has released three albums and several stand-alone singles with personal songs in the Rogaland dialect. On the single ‘Den heilt fyssta vibå’, Silje Molvær contributes both as a lyricist and vocalist together with Baardsen, who wrote the music. In spring 2025, Baardsen & Silje will release the single ‘Midt i dette livet’, another song that they have composed together.
The repertoire at the concerts consists of carefully selected Tang Wa songs, as well as highlights from Baardsen & Silje's own releases. Silje also adds little anecdotes and humour from her father's life, making this a concert performance that plays on several strings.

It's not a long walk from Ogna station to Ogna Scene (15 min) but with Ogna Scene's Shuttle bus service, they pick up and drop off their fantastic audience members who are going to Ogna Scene at Ogna train station completely free of charge.
They arrange it so that those who take the train from Stavanger will be picked up at 12.50 (approx.). From Egersund 13.36 (approx.).
They will also bring you to the station after the concert.
Ogna Scene wants to make it easy and comfortable for you.
NB. They only have one car... If there are many people to be driven, there may be a 5-10 minute wait.
