ABOUT THE FILM
Stella is annoyed by everything her older brother Todd excels at. Todd dreams of selling Stella. Stella is tired of being the youngest and smallest and dislikes everything she can't do, such as learning to read and skiing. She also dislikes things that cause pain, like loose teeth and big injections. Additionally, Stella has a vivid imagination that conjures up dreadful images of what she dreads. It's frustrating for her that Todd can do everything she can't and always wants to compete.
However, being the oldest isn't easy either. Todd is afraid to dive and is the slowest runner in his class. This is why he loves beating Stella. But the joy is short-lived, as they always end up arguing, with Todd getting the blame. Sometimes he wishes he could sell Stella. Todd & Super-Stella is a true story about being siblings and everything one has to learn to grow up.
The film follows the siblings over five years, from when Todd starts school until Stella is in 3rd grade. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions and obstacles that must be overcome. The film offers a humorous and honest glimpse into a childhood filled with arguments, love, and failed ski trips.
