The Danish duo is back at Folken! Bremer/McCoy has become a crowd favorite in their homeland and will conclude their Scandinavian tour with two concerts at The Royal Danish Academy of Music's concert hall in Copenhagen. On their way, we're fortunate to welcome the duo, who operate in the space between jazz, dub, and ambient, to the main hall at Folken.

Their new album will be released on September 6th.

The popular duo will play two concerts on Saturday, November 30th, at The Royal Danish Academy of Music's beautiful concert hall, where they'll perform songs from their upcoming album. In early April, Bremer/McCoy announced a Denmark tour, which this fall will take them through several Danish cities. Now, the phenomenal jazz duo completes their tour schedule with a series of Scandinavian shows, culminating in two exclusive concerts on the same day in Copenhagen. On November 30th, they will perform at one of the country's most stunning venues—the concert hall at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, designed by renowned Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritsen and inaugurated back in 1945. Not only are the surroundings at the old Radio House on Frederiksberg unique, but Bremer/McCoy will also bring a brand-new album on their upcoming tour, which will be released on September 6th. This fall's concerts will be the first opportunity to experience the new tracks live.

About Bremer/McCoy:

Pianist Morten McCoy and bassist Jonathan Bremer have released five albums since 2013, blending spiritual jazz, hymns, folk songs, dub, and Scandinavian melancholy. Bremer/McCoy has released several albums under Talking Heads legend David Byrne's label Luaka Bop (Alice Coltrane, William Onyeabor, Floating Points), and performed countless sold-out concerts both at home and abroad. Live, Bremer/McCoy creates an intimate, close, and meditative atmosphere with double bass, piano, organ, and tape machines, where each note is delivered with intense concentration.
