Byorkesteret med Miss B

Byorkesteret is a musical concept at Bekkis where we have a permanent house band that invites a special guest from time to time.

Miss B (Bente Bårseth): After playing in both a brass band and a recorder orchestra, she turned round and used her vocal cords instead. Sings with empathy and punch, in both major and minor keys. She started out as a backing singer in Broken China, Tidemans Blue (backing singer), Broken China again (vocalist), Randi Engelsvold (backing singer/flutist), and finally as a vocalist in her own band, Miss B & The BlueCats for 8 years. He has also sung on several occasions with Reidar Larsen, Damer i Blues, Eric Slim Zahl & The Southwest Swingers, among others, and now has a band called Miss B & Second Hand Kit that plays funk, soul and blues.
