Konsert med John Derek Bishop og Simon Oberleitner

Simon Oberleitner from Austria and John Derek Bishop from Stavanger will perform a concert in Egersund Church. Oberleitner is a pianist with a background in classical music and jazz, while Bishop is an electronic musician who samples the piano live and processes the sounds of the piano during the concert. The music they create together is cinematic, elongated and abstract, drawing inspiration from classical, ambient and contemporary music. In 2017, Bishop was nominated for the Spellemann Prize for his solo album and in 2020 he was named Stavanger Artist of the Year.
