Participants will have the opportunity to paint wooden boxes with tempera paint that they make themselves using pigments, oil, water and eggs. Tempera paint has a long history and dominated the art of painting until the advent of oil paint in the 15th century. The paint consists of oil and water, which cannot really be mixed, but by adding eggs they are nevertheless bound together.

Many modern artists work with tempera paints, and some claim that this type of paint gives a better expression than oil and acrylic colours. Tempera is particularly well known for its ability to retain the intensity (colouring) of the colours as they are before the paint dries.

The workshop is suitable for adults and children from 8 years. Limited number of places.
