2023 was a groundbreaking year for Emma Steinbakken, dominating radio and Spotify with the year's most played song. She was also honoured as ‘Artist of the Year’ at P3 Gull, and won both ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Breakthrough of the Year’ at Spellemann. Her success in the TV programme ‘Hver gang vi møtes’ (Every time we meet), debut album and EP releases, as well as more than 50 concerts - including two sold-out nights at Rockefeller - have made her one of Norway's biggest artists.
Strong start to 2024 and new album
Emma kicked off 2024 with a sold-out concert at Oslo Spektrum on 2 March, setting the tone for another eventful year. The summer has been filled with 15 major festival appearances that have received rave reviews. In the midst of this hectic programme, she has been working on her second album, which will be released in winter 2024, ahead of her next tour.
New material and a loyal band
Emma is still touring with the same band that has accompanied her since the start in 2019. The tight-knit group is looking forward to presenting new material alongside her greatest hits. In 2025, they will head to Maritim Hall in Haugesund, where the audience can expect an unforgettable evening filled with both new and familiar songs.
Accessibility for younger fans
The organisers have set an 18-year age limit for the concert, but it will be possible for minors to attend accompanied by a guardian, so that everyone has the opportunity to experience Emma Steinbakken live in Haugesund.
