Great Tide is releasing its debut album on 18 October and it will be thoroughly celebrated at the venue.
Hard-working Great Tide, established in Kristiansand, stationed in Oslo, with Kristiansand native Odin Landbakk on guitar, has in a short time managed to debut a single, complete two tours, and won the Uhøyrt final at Bryne. The EP ‘Shadow People’ was also released in October 2023.
Now it's time for another tour where they once again take over the country's stages and captivate the audience in their characteristic white carpenter's trousers, which symbolise hard work, great talent and genuine joy of playing as a basis for becoming an entrepreneur right up there.
Great Tide sounds unique and great and will be releasing several singles in 2024 before debuting an album in the autumn. ‘2024 is a year of focus for both record labels and management.
The music is reminiscent of Little Feat, early 70s Americana/rock.
