HULDER was born in 2018 in the dense landscape of the Pacific Northwest in the U.S. She quickly released a series of demos, EPs, and singles, drawing inspiration from medieval mythology for her acclaimed 2021 debut album Godslastering: Hymns Of A Forlorn Peasantry.
In 2022, HULDER released The Eternal Fanfare, a five-track mini-album, marking a new phase and garnering international interest. Alongside growing attention for her releases, HULDER set stages ablaze (metaphorically!) with extensive touring.
The new album, Verses In Oath, was released on February 9, 2024. While black metal has branched into many subgenres, HULDER stays true to the genre's roots in destruction and chaos. The result is both relentlessly fierce and hauntingly atmospheric; black blood on white snow.
