Kal-El is a Tony Iommi-approved Norwegian heavy rock band. These rockers have released three full-length albums along with a couple of EPs and have toured both Europe and the USA since their formation in 2012. The band is a product of various influences, and while they draw inspiration from classics such as Black Sabbath, Metallica, Sleep, and Motorpsycho (and many more), careful listeners will hear hints of thrash metal and Scandinavian rock complementing their sound.
This makes them a unique band determined to venture out and conquer the world. Kal-El was founded with a drive to experiment with new riffs, and they quickly became prominent with the release of Pakal in 2013. From there, a whirlwind release schedule of albums has set them apart. The band was nominated for a Spellemann Award in the Metal category in 2021 for their latest album, Dark Majesty, and they’ve already been invited backstage with Ozzy, supported Brant Bjork, and even received an "approval" message from Tony Iommi himself. These are all milestones in their quest for heavy rock dominance.
Driven forward by their fans, they are eager to push their music to a bold new level, always looking towards the next horizon and challenge.
