Valen Vocal Ensemble was established in 2019 and consists of eight professional singers from Tysvær in the north to Egersund in the south. For this tour, they are joined by Nivalis Baroque, a Norwegian early music ensemble with professional performers, all specialized in historical performance practices.
The long historical journey of church music will be a central element in this concert production, with music by Claudio Monteverdi and Arvo Pärt as the main works.
