Stavanger's own singer-songwriter star, Mari Hauge, will pay tribute to her greatest musical idol by performing some of the beloved, well-known, and lesser-known Joni Mitchell songs at Stavanger Concert Hall on her birthday, November 7, 2024.

On November 7, 2023, Joni Mitchell turned 80. She is one of the greatest artists of our time and a pioneering figure in the singer-songwriter tradition.

Mari Hauge is a sought-after artist and songwriter from Stavanger, known for her unique, honest, and personal expression. She is described as a singer-songwriter with a rare talent for communication and a songwriter of national caliber.

In May 2023, she released her first solo album in Norwegian, "Sant at me fantes," after several singles were featured on NRK.

Her latest release, "Stilt under stjernetjeld" (2023), received a rating of 5 in Stavanger Aftenblad and was critically acclaimed internationally.
