Midnight Ramblers
Midnight Ramblers is a Rolling Stones tribute band from Stavanger/Sandnes that was formed in 1990. The experienced musicians have built up a solid reputation for hitting the Stonses' live sound from the golden age 1969-1979. The band, consisting of 6 musicians supplemented by a choir and brass section, takes the audience on a journey through the best songs from the glory days of The Rolling Stones. Midnight Ramblers can look back on collaborations with a number of talented and well-known artists, including Claudia Scott and Blondie Chaplin, and the band was praised by Bill Wyman himself after their support job when he played in Stavanger Concert Hall in 2001. In 2023, Midnight Ramblers have played at the Dalane Blues Festival (rave review in BluesNews 3 July 2013), Skånevik Blues Festival and Hårfeste Festival in Rennesøy, as well as a sold-out Ogna Scene. The Midnight Ramblers always create a great atmosphere at their concerts and have received good feedback from audiences and organisers.
