With songs like "Dancing in the Backyard", "Come Back To Me", "(In That) Premature Way", "She Gave Me Away" and "Supergirl", the band helped define the first musical decade of the 2000s here at home.

The band also gained a solid foothold in Europe, especially in France, Switzerland and Germany, where they had great success with the albums Up For You & I (2004) and Reasons To Hang Around (2006). For the latter, Minor Majority won the Spellemannsprisen in the category for "best pop group" in 2006.

During their career, Minor Majority has played more than 700 concerts throughout Europe.

In recent years, the band has been very active on the record front and has released three albums in less than four years (Napkin Poetry (2019), The Universe Would Have To Adjust (2021) and Kiss Off (2022). All have received good reviews both here at home and abroad in Europe. After a successful German tour in September, a few selected cities will be able to experience them as a duo this December. In this format, the audience gets closer to the band and closer to the songs as they were when they were made.
