ABOUT THE CONCERT
Minor Majority debuted with the album "Walking Home From Nicole's" in 2001 and have over twenty years of experience as recording artists. With songs like "Dancing in the Backyard," "Come Back to Me," "(In That) Premature Way," "She Gave Me Away," and "Supergirl," the band helped define the first musical decade of the 2000s in Norway.
They also gained a strong foothold in Europe, especially in France, Switzerland, and Germany, where they found great success with the albums "Up For You & I" (2004) and "Reasons To Hang Around" (2006). For the latter, Minor Majority won the Spellemann Award for "Best Pop Group" in 2006.
Throughout their career, Minor Majority has played over 800 concerts across Europe.
In recent years, the band has been very active, releasing three albums in under four years: "Napkin Poetry" (2019), "The Universe Would Have to Adjust" (2021), and "Kiss Off" (2022), all receiving positive reviews both in Norway and Europe.
This fall, audiences will experience Minor Majority as a trio, consisting of Pål Angelskår, Martin Nordahl Andersen, and Roar Nilsen. In this format, the audience will get closer to the band and the songs, as they were when they were originally created.
Expect both old hits and new favorites.
