Oktoberdans 2024 | Discourse: The Futures of Performing Arts and Performing Artists with Fremtenkt

What is the future of performing arts? And what about the stage artist? In this workshop Fremtenkt invites all interested parties to explore common ideas about the future. Using methods from futures studies, literary scholar Ragnhild Nabben and philosopher Sveinung Sundfør Sivertsen in Fremtenkt invite to an open conversation about probable, desirable and (wildly) possible futures for the field, and all those who honor/graze on it. Fremtenkt is an ideal AS based in Bergen that works with sustainable solutions to a number of problems we face today.
