Norway's Oldest Opera House
The festival is organized by the Opera House in Kristiansund, Norway's oldest opera house. In February, the city is filled with a diverse and rich program, including major opera performances, operettas and musicals, chamber concerts, concert theater, and lighter cultural events throughout the city.
Opera for Everyone!
The Opera Festival Weeks 2025 will take place as in previous years in February, featuring great concerts and musical experiences both in the historic Festiviteten and in churches, libraries, cafes, and even on outdoor excursions. There's something for everyone—both young and old.
